10th Anniversary for Hope Step Preschool in Myanmar June 2026

14 years ago this was a dream and now we are about to take in our 10th

preschool class! This preschool is located in a rural village where 10% of the children attended free Government School when they were of age. Today 100% of the students who attend Hope Step further their education and are well prepared when they begin.

Pastor Cheko's wife passed away this past year and it has been a difficult year for

him, but the school continues to provide excellent education and motivation to the children. Recently 19 children graduated and will begin Government school this June.

NLLB continues to help with school supplies and food for the needy in the village on an annual basis. The children help deliver food packets to the needy, often elderly without children.
