As many of you will remember, Tony had a hip replacement last year and NLLB was involved with funding a special walker w/arm extensions and physical therapy. His legs are not the same length after his hip replacement and he is in need of a "lift shoe". NLLB is now helping Tony obtain a "lift shoe" that will be solid and last a long time. These shoes made in Indonesia often do not last long. Due to the hot climate, closed shoes present a problem with foot fungus, as well as the fact that Tony has only one hand and that hand is crippled due to his electrocution injury. This is a difficult process, but if we can get Tony a strong and sturdy shoe that will last for the long term this will be wonderful!
