Club Foot Update 7 Years Later

Sumatra and at age 9, NLLB took him to Singapore for a Ponseti casting series (no surgery) to straighten his club foot. It had never been done on a child his age. A remarkable Orthopedic surgeon in Singapore agreed to try and we continue to be amazed at the outcome. Normally children wear a shoe brace to hold the foot

in place, but Widodo is unable to get them. Here he is at age 16 with a wonderfully flat foot!
