Last October Linley visited he remote village of Apolo's on the island of Nias. His village is extremely remote and requires crossing a rapid river and hiking 2 hours up into the mountains. Poverty is extreme and nutrition poor. NLLB funded 2 hens and 1 rooster for Apolo and his family. This month (May 2017), a dear NLLB friend made this trip to see Apolo and sent these photos. She said they now have eggs and that there are 6 little chicks. What a remarkable change in the kids from just a few eggs (from 7 months ago)!
