NLLB was made aware of Houston's need for wheelchairs and walkers. It so happened the NLLB had 2 heavy duty children's walkers that were waiting to be sent to Indonesia. However, seeing the greater need in Houston, we reached out to our supporters to see if we could find local organization who could take them.

We would like to extend our thanks to Tammy Hendricks and Barbara Oravetz for working on logistics finding a place that needs these walkers. The gentleman in the photo above is the "Rescue Angel" who picked the walkers up this morning to deliver them to St. John's Church Downtown to be given to children in need.
