There is a small school with 65 students (grades Preschool - 12th grade) in rural New Mexico. The area is economically depressed and many families struggle. The wonderful teachers pitch in for students in need, often buying shoes or clothes for students. NLLB made contact the week before Christmas and heard of a new family with 5 children in severe need. The family have no car and the children did not all have shoes and none had warm coats as the cold weather arrives. NLLB purchased winter coats for all 7 family members, warm clothing, winter boots as well as food/household goods. The youngest daughter does not have her new coat on in the photo... but has received it. The smiles bring us warmth! Thank you for continuing your support in this project!
