We are working to help Afolo with his urgent needs of feeding his new baby and care for his 5 children. A dear friend of NLLB will be going to Nias to assess the situation and bring goods from NLLB (milk powder/vitamins/etc). This area has no clean water, cooks on fire (wood has to be gathered, normally by the wife) as well as gathering wild carrots for the main food source.
