NLLB has hit the ground running since making it to Flores. The travel so far has been quite bumpy, literally! 6 hours of muddy bumpy roads in an ancient jeep where one's head is literally banging (a helmet is much needed!), and the gas fumes nearly kill all the backseat passengers, to remedy this NLLB get out and walk through the mud! It's nice stretch out on such a long journey.
Linley reports the roads are the worst she's ever seen, however she is in excellent company with Sr. Inoue.
In Linley's last communication, they had stopped to do a free clinic in Sok, and to see an former NLLB patient we helped get surgery for.
7 years ago, NLLB had funded a shunt surgery for Ican; today he is 20 and doing well! Below is a picture of him with Linely.
We will update more as NLLB continues to work in Indonesia1
