For several months banks have been closed and food supplies have been dwindling. We were finally able to get funds to the Pastor at the NLLB Hope Step Preschool for distribution of food to the most needy. Serving widows, elderly and those with many children first. They were unable to obtain dry fish due to the rise in costs and obtained eggs instead.

The school has been closed this past year and gatherings are limited to 3 persons.

They are hopeful that the school will reopen soon.

This is the dry season and planting is not possible until later in June when the rain season

begins. This food supply will help those in most. Thank you to those who have graciously and generously helped with this project. We are looking at ways for the villagers to become more self sufficient through planting programs and other means, encouraging even small gardens next to their houses.
