Many of you will know that Myanmar has been in civil conflict since February. With businesses already being closed this past year due to the pandemic, many working

family members have returned to their villages where they are now another mouth to feed.

Since February, banks have been closed (until this week), supply trucks and goods have

been stopped, curfews are in place and food supplies are low in many areas. NLLB

built a free preschool in a village outside of Yangon and that too has been closed since last year due to the pandemic. We were able to send funds for farm hand tools prior to February.

This week we were able to send funds to purchase basic food supplies, which will be

given to widows and those in extreme need. Food items include: dried fish, rice, onions and oil.
