Natalia was one of NLLB's earliest burn victims. She suffered a 3rd degree
burn to her leg as a young child that caused burn scarring and restriction
to her leg. She received burn surgery in the USA at Shriners. We have
followed her for many years from age 9 until now. She is from Sumatra.
She spent a year in Jakarta with an NLLB foster family taking university
prep courses and preparing for a future. Recently she entered her final
year of nursing school and received her nurses cap. Linley was able to
attend the ceremony via zoom and watch this bright young woman
continue on her journey of education. NLLB funds her education/room
& board as she attends nursing school. Education of girls from remote
areas is one of the ways NLLB changes lives. You can join our mission
of helping one person at a time in this amazing journey by helping fund
the education of a child. Many lives will be changed by the education of
one.
