In honor of National Women's Day, NLLB would like to offer this opportunity for people to join in our efforts to educate a girl in Indonesia. We have Natalia in her first year of nursing school, where she is doing great! Natalia was one of our burn victims when she was 9 yrs. old and today is 21! One of the hardest things about helping Natalia enter university was her poor level of education in the village. She was always in the top students, but there were limited materials and access to quality learning. We have decided to target younger girls and educate them earlier in order to help them find success. Our first burn victim, Apolo has a 9 yr. old daughter who is advanced in their village school, although they do not have
many text books and some students do not even have pencils. (NLLB supplied school supplies for every student in this village last year.) Apolo's daughter will be hosted in Jakarta by the same amazing family who hosted Natalia for a year while she took prep courses.
Please consider helping fund these girls in school in honor of National Women's Day and BEYOND! You can do it in a variety of ways: Collect coins in jars/Hold a Garage Sale/Make a donation on our website/Send a check.
Let's CHANGE ANOTHER LIFE!
